About the Author

Peter Lister <p.lister@uws.edu.au>

Peter is employed as a technician with the University of Western Sydney (Sydney, Australia). He primarily supports botany classes as a part of the teaching programme and maintains websites for teaching and research. His interests in didjeridu and traditional music started in the 1970's and from this, he developed an interest in traditional plant use and ecological knowledge. He is now trying to achieve a greater understanding of Yolngu cosmology. Peter also studies Yolngu languages through Northern Territory University and spends his spare time sculpting stone.
